BOTOX® Cosmetic
BOTOX® Cosmetic is an FDA-approved injectable treatment that can help reduce the appearance of dynamic wrinkles and lines. Derived from botulinum toxin type A, it works by temporarily relaxing the muscles around the injection site to diminish the formation of wrinkles and result in a smoother, more youthful facial aesthetic. BOTOX® Cosmetic is often used to treat forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, and lines around the mouth.
Dysport®
Dysport® works similarly to BOTOX® Cosmetic in that it helps relax overactive facial muscles in order to reduce the appearance of dynamic wrinkles. It is most often used to treat the glabellar lines, or the lines that develop between the eyebrows.
Daxxify®
Daxxify® is a neuromodulator that binds to muscles and temporarily reduces wrinkles formed from dynamic lines (which form with facial movement) and static lines (which are present at rest). The relaxation of the muscle creates a smoother, more youthful appearance to the skin. While other neurotoxins contain a human blood protein called albumin, Daxxify® is unique in that it is created with peptides, which are long chains of amino acids. These peptides take longer to break down and have led to Daxxify® having a longer duration when compared to other neurotoxins when dosed appropriately. Daxxify® also starts to kick in faster and reaches maximum effect quicker. Many patients will report seeing cosmetic results within the first 48 hours after treatment.
JUVÉDERM®
The JUVÉDERM® line of dermal fillers is designed to add volume to different areas of the face, diminishing the appearance of wrinkles and reducing skin laxity for a more youthful aesthetic. All JUVÉDERM® fillers are composed of hyaluronic acid (HA), a compound found naturally within the body. Commonly treated areas include the cheeks, lips, tear troughs, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and jaw.
Restylane®
The Restylane® family of products is a hyaluronic acid-based line of dermal fillers that can be used to smooth lines and wrinkles while adding or restoring volume to the midface, cheeks, lips, lower eyelid areas, and jawline.
The RHA® Collection
The RHA® Collection of dermal fillers are a class of resilient hyaluronic acid fillers that are FDA-approved to reduce dynamic lines and wrinkles. The formula is created to move, stretch, and adapt to facial expressions for a natural look and feel. Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, which is a polysaccharide that is naturally found in tissue and aids in moisture retention. Proper placement of this product helps restore volume loss associated with weight loss and aging, moisturization of the tissue, and reduction in fine lines, wrinkles, and skin folds.
